Small canvas. Full conviction. I built purple to be structural.
In Amethyst Fault I packed a full compositional statement into a compact 12"x12" format. I split rich violet and purple tones along a diagonal fault line where lighter lavender washes bleed through. The small scale keeps every brushstroke accountable, and the color saturation punches well above the canvas size.
