In Blue Divide I captured that split-second where motion and stillness collide. I pulled deep navy and black currents inward, creating a natural focal point that feels both powerful and grounding. The movement flows vertically, drawing your eye through layers of shifting blues, subtle highlights, and organic textures that continue to reveal themselves the longer you look. There's a sense of depth here that almost feels like you're looking into water rather than at paint. The contrast between dark structure and lighter currents gives the piece energy without overwhelming the space, making it bold but still livable. I finished it in high gloss, so it becomes even more dimensional as light interacts with the surface, enhancing contrast and bringing the movement to life.
