I don't always work depth vertically. Sometimes I stretch it wide and pull you in sideways.
I filled a panoramic horizontal canvas with vivid blue and teal fluid pour that moves like a cross-section of open water. The scale is striking, 36 inches of uninterrupted color that creates its own horizon line. I pooled deeper navy at the edges while brighter teal and cerulean push through the center, giving the piece both depth and luminosity. The elongated format amplifies the sense of flow and makes the movement feel continuous beyond the canvas edges.
