To me, drift doesn't mean lost. It means moving with something larger than yourself.
I moved blue and gray fluid swirls through a cobalt blue ground, creating an oceanic depth that feels immersive. The float frame in silver and black gives the piece a finished, gallery-ready presence. The canvas appears to hover within the frame, adding a layer of architectural refinement. I kept the moody palette within a tight tonal range, letting the swirling movement do the work. Light catches the glossy surface differently at every angle.
