In Gilded Divide I ran metallic gold leaf along the central break, catching ambient light differently at every angle. I kept the surrounding acrylic fields deep charcoal and slate, so the gold line feels like it's generating its own illumination. The contrast is deliberate and architectural rather than decorative.
