I don't divide heat cleanly. I pull it apart in slow, molten lines.

I marbled black, copper, and rose pigments together in a fluid pour that evokes cooling lava, dense, warm, and heavy. I let the dark ground dominate while metallic copper veins thread through the surface, catching light like ore exposed in volcanic rock. I restrained the palette to dark and warm tones only, giving the piece a gravity that quieter colors cannot achieve. The marbled texture creates natural variation across the surface.

Why this piece works in a space

  • Dark warm palette grounds spaces with black, brown, or leather furnishings
  • Copper metallic veins add subtle richness without competing with room lighting
  • Moody tone works in dens, offices, restaurants, and bedrooms

Best for: Offices, Hallways, Bedrooms, Executive offices

Molten Divide in Gavin's home

When I was redoing my room, I wanted something different to fill up a certain spot on my wall. My father who had purchased from Dr.Jerry previously showed me his work and this art piece caught my eye. The attention to detail is impeccable and I have a 10/10 recommend in any art made by Dr.Jerry.
