To me, static isn't silence. It's every signal arriving at once.
I built thick layers of green, purple, orange, and white acrylic into a heavily textured surface that reads differently from every angle. My impasto technique gives the piece real physical dimension, paint ridges cast their own shadows and catch light across their peaks. I chose colors that are unexpected together but held them in balance by the density of the layering. This is a painting you feel as much as see.
