I scattered gold across the dark. Not placed. Discovered.
I brought gold metallic textures out of a dark navy-black background, scattered across the surface like light catching water at night. I didn't keep the gold to a single line or accent, it appears throughout the composition in varying densities, some areas dense and concentrated, others sparse and atmospheric. The dark ground recedes behind the metallic elements, creating depth and a sense of something glowing from within. The mood is rich, quiet, and nocturnal.
