I didn't make the aurora perform. It just moves, and you stop.
I swirled blue, purple, and teal pigments together in a compact fluid pour that evokes the shifting light of a northern aurora compressed to canvas scale. I let the colors blend at their edges but hold their identities in the swirl, creating visible currents of distinct pigment within the flow. I kept the cool palette cohesive while the swirl pattern adds constant movement. Small, contained, and endlessly watchable.
