I didn't build the divide as a break. It's where two tides decided to remember each other.
I let blue and gold pigments meet along a horizontal divide in a panoramic format, their interaction producing intricate cellular bubble textures and metallic depth across the full width of the canvas. I kept the composition layered and complex, some areas dense with lace-like pour detail, others opening into broader washes. The horizontal orientation and central divide give the piece a landscape-like structure while staying fully abstract. I threaded gold accents through both halves, unifying what the divide separates.
